COPD patients choose an e-ter-nal quest,
Seeking some answers to ward off this pest!
Exercise and diet are important to digest,
Help us keep fit, also breathing our best.
Medicine has given me all I dare ask,
Faith and my family supported that task.
I continue my search, before I can bask,
For better solutions, then I’ll tap my cask!
I chat with my peers, on COPD chat,
Learn of experiences the others combat.
We share information and many a stat,
Have joys and sorrows; sometimes tip a hat.
Some of us take, the knowledge we gain,
Share it with others, to prevent further pain.
Teaching an audience a prevention refrain,
Trying to tap into, the smokers disdain!
So now we give back, to those new and
old,
What knowledge we can, with nary a scold.
We’re trying to help, the young, old and bold,
Prevent walking paths, of nightmares we’ve told.
