Teddy Doctor Is Coming to Midsummer Night in Corbridge

We are very excited to announce that My Oh My Plush Clinic will be joining this year’s Midsummer Night celebrations in Corbridge with our very own Teddy Bear A&E Department!

On Thursday, June 18th from 4pm in Corbridge Market Place, our Teddy Doctor will be on hand to provide teddy check-ups, minor repairs, re-stuffing, emergency stitches, and plenty of teddy TLC for much-loved bears and soft toys.

This is a very special opportunity for families to bring along cherished childhood teddies that may need a little care and attention, whether they have floppy limbs, loose seams, missing eyes, escaping stuffing, or simply look like they have had one cuddle too many over the years.

For just £5 per teddy, our Plush Clinic team will provide:

Full teddy health checks
Minor repairs and stitching
Partial or full re-stuffing
Teddy care advice
Emotional cuddle support

We absolutely love meeting the bears behind the stories. Over the years we have treated teddies who survived washing machine accidents, puppy attacks, muddy adventures, and decades of loyal companionship. Every teddy carries memories, comfort, and history – and we know just how important they are to the people who love them.

Children will also have the chance to meet the Teddy Doctor in person, talk about their bears, and learn a little about how teddy restoration works behind the scenes.

Please note, opportunities like this do not happen very often. Normally,  toy restoration work at Plush Clinic is booked far in advance, so this event offers a rare chance to have your teddy looked at in person during a community event.

No appointment is needed for initial teddy check-ups during Midsummer Night, and all first consultations are completely free.

So before you head out for an evening of music, shopping, and celebration in Corbridge, take a quick look under beds, inside toy boxes, and on bedroom shelves… there might be a teddy waiting for their chance to visit the Teddy Doctor.

We cannot wait to meet you – and your bears!
