Please use them with care. The ink may permanently stain clothing, fabrics, upholstery and other surfaces. We recommend protecting your work area and ensuring children are supervised while decorating their teddy bear.
Caring for Your Pen Pal
Your Pen Pal is designed as a lasting keepsake, not as a washable toy.
Do not machine wash or hand wash your decorated teddy bear, as water may cause the artwork and messages to fade, smudge or deteriorate over time.
To help preserve your design, allow the ink to dry completely after decorating. If desired, an adult may carefully heat-set the artwork using a garment steamer or a warm iron with steam, avoiding direct contact between the iron and the teddy bear. Always follow appropriate safety precautions when using heated appliances.
Store your Pen Pal in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to help keep your memories looking their best for years to come.
